Gundham/Gonta is pure because:

Gundham would go on his speech to someone on how bugs are inferior [<this is canon btw] AND then he'd here Gonta say "Oh, Gonta heard bugs!" And then he would precede to just explain all the cool things/precious things/why he loves bugs

Gundham would be struck silent for once, as Gonta reveals he also knows what the Devas are saying/has an idea [something in the Ultimate Development Plan]. Gundham would have not only a new perspective but a new crush, friend!

Theyd hang out/showeach other animals and bugs. Swap information, itd be pure.

Gonta would also like Gundham, because Gundham doesn't look down on him. Sometimes he doesn't quite get what Gundham is saying, but he feels relieved he isnt the only one (and that he's not being ungentlemanly).

Hey what's your thoughts on Gonta x Gundham since they're both can kinda talk to animals?

Hello, Anon! Thanks so much for asking for my opinion on this ship! I wasn’t actually aware of this ship before you brought it to my attention but I hope that this will be extensive enough even if I had to seek such content out for myself recently.

While I know that Gundham desperately wants to be accepted for who he is and while I know that Gonta tends to accept anyone kind for who they are (so long as they claim to love bugs) I am a bit reluctant on this ship as well. I feel like Gundam maybe would need someone a bit more mature than Gonta to accept him because the way that I personally see him wanting a connection in a sense where someone can relate to him even if it’s in small ways. I feel that they’d need to understand that he can easily be hurt by his very eccentricities that he uses as a false veil of confidence and that they need to encourage him and even coax him at times to feel more assured of himself and to be the very best that he can (although honestly, both Gonta and Gundham are both amazing already in my eyes). I do think that the content for them is very sweet and cutesy but I also just feel that there is a sort of gap in a way. Gonta would accept Gundham and love him unconditionally if he were to like Gundham. I know that for certain but I just also feel that Gonta still would only understand pieces of Gundham and that while he is very smart with how he caught up to other kids his age when he was raised by literal wolves, that there just wouldn’t be quite the understanding Gundham needs unless there is some sort of portrayal or development for both characters that allows them to really open up in a way that both can grasp. Therefore, I once again struggle to say that this ship is immediately a goodie. I do again love the idea since I love both of these boys but both are so terrible at socializing in a normal manner but both in such vastly different proportions and means that I’m not fully sure if they could have that mutual understanding that I personally see would be required for a meaningful relationship. Therefore I suppose that I’d have to also give this ship a 7/10 as with the last ship I reviewed since I am not opposed to it but I see it only working with a specific set of requirements to make it a lasting relationship with full mutual understanding of one another. I hope that made sense and I do want you to know that I don’t dislike this ship or anything. I just don’t ship it myself as I don’t personally see it being highly compatible unless maybe some Dark Devas or someone helps the two out at times.
