Uh. That’s. So hard. The entire anime? Does that count? 

Hm.

Specifically KilluGon…?

Gosh. 

…

Honestly the entire episode where they go to Whale Island, and they have that conversation under the stars… that will always sit with me as one of the best episodes of anything I’ve ever watched. Gon and Killua seemed so young and unafraid in that episode, so free to be themselves, talking about these aspects of who they are that we, the audience, still don’t entirely understand yet.

And Killua privately insisting that he’ll stay at Gon’s side, and knowing what’s to come… that’s so powerful, and there’s nothing that can improve those moments for me. So I think that whole episode, and the genuine sweetness and growing development of their friendship in those spare moments, make that wonderful twenty or so minutes really special.

So yeah. I suppose that’s the first one that popped in my mind. There are many others, but it’s almost impossible to pick. Also that episode was so beautifully animated, and it was so… calm and quiet. Like these two wonderful characters, who have grown so close so quickly, really do have all the time in the world on this whale-shaped island. 

I dunno. I’ve seen it several times. Not as many as the one episode I’ve watched… seven times, but it’s this one remains to be the one I’ve watched the second-most. 

So yeah. Does this count?
