I'm likely not participating in the Writting Prompt contest, but I'm guessing that the running theme in the latest prompts is the first four Rocky movies? 1.Mickey trying to convince Rocky in the 1st movie to take him back as his trainer; 2. The kids following Rocky in his training montage in the 2nd movie; 3. Creed and Rocky training in the beach, after Rocky and Adrian's arguement (3rd movie); 4. The Soviet Union sending near-super soldier Ivan Dargo to fight in the 4th movie.

And we have a winner, folks!

1.  A broke loser has suddenly lucked into fame and fortune, and suspects this is why an old friend turned enemy has shown up seeking to get a redemption arc

This is one of my favorite scenes in movies, generally. Just a great little mini-drama, and I love that the resolution of “Rocky realizing that as much as he hates Mickey, they need each other so there’s no use being mad about it” is entirely nonverbal.

2.  Thousands of children spontaneously decide to chase after a jogger

As mentioned, this is the training montage for Rocky II, which is much cartoonier than the first film. I like to think about what happened immediately after this scene, when all these ten-year-olds with amazing cardio who’ve chased Rocky for literally miles suddenly realize they have no idea where the fuck they are or how to get home. There was probably a lot of crying.

3. An action hero is feeling down, and some romantic time alone on the beach with his love interest makes him realize what he needs to get his mojo back: Some romantic time alone on the beach with his nemesis

The training scene, as mentioned, takes place immediately after a romantic scene on the beach between Rocky and Adrian, which you can even see the fade-out of in this clip (incidentally, Adrian really got shafted by this franchise, didn’t she? She’s arguably the protagonist of the first film, and then immediately gets demoted to “hero’s wife” and never gets to do anything again).

4.  A plan to defeat the Soviet Union runs into their most fearsome defense: Sexy robot maids

While the Soviet Union connection to Rocky IV is obvious, I did not invent the “sexy robot maid” subplot, which is a real plot point in the movie! Rocky buys Paulie, the villain of the first movie and Adrian’s abusive brother that her arc the first movie was all about escaping and then he just got to be part of Team Rocky after that with no explanation or acknowledgement of his evil (told you this franchise shafted Adrian) a robot maid for his birthday, and Paulie somehow reprograms it to have a sexy waifu vote and compliment him and everyone is kind of weirded out by it. This plot point is apparently being removed from the upcoming director’s cut, but is so stupid - even by the standards of the rest of Rocky IV - that a lot of fans are hoping it gets kept in

Who is the best man/men? -  Shin has no friends so he either asked Fujita (who would break down crying), Chota (he’s crying too but less than Fujita)  or Shou-san (best idea only person with brain cells in the family). En insists it should be him.

Who is the braid’s maid(s)? - of course Ebisu who is dressed af, Turkey who is very supportive but still wears the ugglies shoes to wedding and Nikaido who has no fucking idea why she should go

Who did the most planning? - En (his plan involve an accident to happen to Shin) and Chota let’s be real

Who stressed the most? -Fujita Shin

How fancy was the ceremony? - Back of a pickup truck  (if only they are responsible for planning)| 2 | 3 | 4 | Normal Church Wedding | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Kate and William wish they were this big. (If Chota and En gets their way)

Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? -  En obviously  but he sneaked in as  Kikurage or Chota’s companion,

Who is on top? -  Noi

Who is the one to instigate things? - Noi, Shin is shy boy

How healthy is their sex life? -  Barely touch themselves let alone each other | 2 | 3 | 4 | Once a couple weeks, nothing overboard | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | They are humping each other on the couch right now

How many children will they have naturally? - oh god on one hand their biological kids would be beautiful cute little monsters but on the other we already have Ebisu as example why they shouldn’t be allowed to look after kids. So maybe 1 since they both are single kids

How many children will they adopt? - 1.I think this is way how they actually could have kids like they find some powerful half-magic user kid or kid that became orphan after the rain

Who gets stuck with the most diapers? -Shin

Who is the stricter parent? - Shin

Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school? - neither lmao they teach their kid what they know the best

Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)? - Shin

Who is the more loved parent? - idk

Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings? - Shin who made sure to wear shirt with more subtle blood splatters on to assert dominance

Who cried the most at graduation? -Shin but he denies it he has mask on you can’t prove shit

Who does the most cooking? -Shin he at least knows some cooking that his dad teached him, Noi is Ojou-sama she has chiefs to do it for her

Who does the grocery shopping? - neither they live in mansion after all

How often do they bake desserts? -  maybe younger Shin tried to learn to bake to surprise Noi but it turned out horrible so he gave up

When I started shipping them: around 2012 I saw fanarts on DA and become curious why they look like that and what is their story so I snooped in this trash can called Bleach

My thoughts: the point where their story ends is just a beginning, he just realized what she mean to him and she forgive the fuckery he just did (this is how I interpret "are you afraid?. As" can you forgive the horrible things I did? ") and it makes this relationship so interesting and sad. There's so many scenarios that you can play with. Also there's a lot to explore about their time together in LN since the unmasked confirmed what we saw aren't all of their interactions.

What makes me happy about them: They cared about each other and he, a being that is not supposed to /don't want to let himself have feelings, loved her

What makes me sad about them: he's dead and just evaporated from her memories, his death meant nothing for her character development (bc Kubo quote "likes her how she is" congrats man you just confirmed you don't know shit about writing) and she's just an incubator for next generation of this wank and not a character

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: using violence, taking shit Ulquiorra said to other arancars seriously, Orihime still being a damsel in distress, Ulquiorra using medical/scientific terminology but also him being totally ignorant of human world

Things I look for in fanfic: I hadn't read fanfics in years tbh and around 2014 I read pretty much everything on ff.org and most of ao3 so at that point existing was everything I was looking for

My wishlist: Ulquiorra getting killed by zanpaktou so he can be reborn and meet her again / being healed by Orihime who makes her own decisions and stopped giving fuck/Orihime actually remember him, says his name instead of vague "I don't want to see any more arancars die" shit/ Ulquiorra coming back to roast the cursed outfit ("surprisingly it doesn't suit you" please i would fucking die)

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Ishida for Hime I'm chill with this paring it's cute and shippers smoke far less crack, death for Ulqui

My happily ever after for them: just learning about and supporting each other and also acting silly

How I feel about this character: making the cool analitical character extremely emotionally unstable is very interesting idea. His feelings are justified but his actions especially toward his friends aren't. Tho I like how realistic pushing friends away from himself is and how all his trauma and problems does not go away just because he has friends who can use talk no jutsu to make him turn 180° and just stop his auto destruction like that.

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: Leorio, queen Oito lately bc when she said she doesn't care about him my monkey brain went "oh boi what if she starts caring and it'll be sad" so it can also go non-romantically idc just make me cry Togashi-sama!

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: Wobble

My unpopular opinion about this character: I don't like mamapika to Gon too much

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: not die? Is this too much?

In Polish tradition the most important role of Saint Valentine was patron of ill people especially people who have neurological and mental diseases (most important epilepsy - Saint Valentine’s disease)

So even until 50s of XX century mostly on Kurpie has been organized ceremonies in intention of sick. So people were bringing votives wax in different shapes: usually balls and rings (for problems with eyes and head) but also in shapes of what hurt specific person so legs, heart etc. The rarest are human shapes which represent in toddlers but practices with use of wax votives representing humans were forbidden by church.

At first these were made made by sacrificers, later they could be rent from verger.

Sacrificers were holding votives in hands or on forehead. Women keep them in the scarfs.  People walked around 3 times around the altar, gathering dust from it and rubbed dust in the places that hurt (head, eyes, joints etc.)
