It’s hard to imagine while we’re melting in 100+ degree weather, but fall is just around the corner…and with fall, comes that Back to School feeling.
Even if it’s been awhile since the seasons dictated your schedule, it’s hard to shake that feeling of summer ending. Leaves start to turn, and even when the sun is still just as bright, it starts to take on a different quality. The days are slowly getting shorter, and the nights are getting colder.
Nostalgia is in the Air
Thanks to the typical school year that gets ingrained in so many of us, fall also feels like a new beginning. Even if you’re returning to the same school, there’s a chance for reinvention. A chance for starting over. This season always makes me feel especially nostalgic.

Although when I was in school I couldn’t wait to get out, now I find myself looking back fondly on those days. I even miss math class!

Solid School Staples
Introspection aside, fall is a great time to get back to basics, especially since a lot of students have to worry about uniforms—or at least dress codes. We’ve got a few old standbys that will help you get your bases covered.
Our Extraordinary Thigh Highs and Extraordinary Longer Thigh Highs are pretty much the perfect staple when it comes to long socks. Knee Socks are often a requirement for many uniforms, and make for a good basic regardless of your dress code.
