HE CAN SQUEAK. HE SQUEAKED. I HAD TO PICK HIM UP AND I ACIDENTLY TOUCHED UNDER HIS THORAX (the long part of his body, aka his butt. I didn't squeeze don't worry) AND HE SQUEAKED I FEEL BAD. I did find put what kind of beetle he is, correct me if I am wrong, Lucanid Stage Beetle(as seen in ss and photo) but he's just a sweetie. He hasn't pinched me at all! I keep him well fed and I will be getting him a larger incloser filled with everything from his natural habitat(pine tree forest, atleast that's where I found him) I make sure his soil is nicely moist and not very dry. I don't keep it too moist though. He is well, he loves to climb up my arm. I tried to let him crawl on the ground(my room so no one would squish or injure him) but he didn't want none of it. Sorry my desk is so messy by the way.

HE FELL. HE FELL ON HIS BACK AND IT WAS A TWO INCH FALL. IT KNOCKED THE AIR OUT OF HIM HE SQUEAKED AND IT WAS SO SAD. he's still alive but I feel so bad, he's perfectly fine nothing is broken HE still has all of his appendages too, but my god do I feel like a shitty dude. I had to take him out to moisten up his habitat and after playing for a few minutes he fell :(. I'll do better I promise, he took it like a champ though! He's sweet and friendly, my best little beetle friend!(also my only beetle friend but it still counts!) Sorry if you all are tired of seeing Bernard, I have no other bugs, but I'll still keep posting even if you guys don't like it because more people should see him.
