A mental image I just GOTTA share
HELLO HI OKAY SO
While I was in the shower, I had a mental image about that one thing Crowley said at the end of ep. 6, “It’s gonna be all of us against all of them”, with Aziraphale asking, “Heaven and Hell against humanity?”
Now imagine, a trailer: An open field with “Who Wants to Live Forever” playing in the background. Dark clouds form above, with silhouettes of the archangels, and bits of dirt rises up.
In slow motion, Aziraphale comes into frame with a sword in his hand, and a purple lightning bolt from the clouds strikes it away. We don’t see his face, but from Aziraphale’s body language, he is very distressed but determined, and his wings unfurl with faint eye-like patterns on his feathers. Another lightning bolt strikes in Aziraphale’s direction, and Crowley jumps into frame just to save him by stepping on and hopping over the hills of dirt that the demons are forming.
Cut to black and you hear the lyrics, “Who waits forever anyway?” with the caption, “To the world”.
Probably never gonna happen (yet?), but my imagination just RAN WILD with this!
