“We’ll meet again some sunny day...”

Orin walked over to the Golden Keg, hands in his pockets, his demeanor was grim as he pondered the events of Darkshore. How he was going to depart along with his company, leading them into combat once more though against people. People who had been friends and allies in the war against the Legion. The small, grizzled war veterans grim thoughts were interrupted by a cheery.

“ORIN!”

Orin looked up with a smile, the large bandaged friend...No brother. His big brother Joe was staring down at him. “JOE!” Orin called back, the two embracing one another. “We don’t have to drink tonight Orin...We can go n’do somethin’ else instead.” The man offered Orin. Orin smiled at this suggestion before wondering what exactly they could do. Then he had it! “We could go look at stars or go n’ look out at tha’ harbor!” Orin’s hazel eye tracking Joe as the man seemed to light up at the idea of the harbor. “Yes! The harbor!”

The two walked out to the harbor with smile, laughter and they even stopped to chat with some of Joe’s friends. Well one...Orin was always amazed at how many people the big teddy bear knew. Perhaps it was Joe’s kindness that drew people to him, how he cared for others. Either way he was happy to spend some time with Joe before he had to leave. Not knowing this war was going to drag out far longer than one might think. He sat down next to Joe, inhaling the sea breeze and watching the troops below them. “When are ya goin’ Orin?” Joe’s voice stirred him from his thoughts. “Ah...Tomorrow evenin’ is when muh ship leaves...” He watched Joe frown some. “To fast...I really wish we coulda’ gone fishin’.” Orin had also wished this as well, though things had been tense, something was bound to pop off sooner or later. “Hey Joe...What did ya do for fun as a kid?” Orin asked with a curious tone to his rough voice.

Joe went on to explain he worked quite a bit growing up in Westfall, but even then there were still fun times to be had. Memories of picking apples from the apple trees and the like. Orin even shared some of his own experiences, at the request of Joe. The topic of betrayal soon came up, the two men fell silent as both had experienced such in their life time. Orin quietly moved over, hugging Joe silently, burying his face into his tabard. Joe scooted closer as well, holding the smaller man close as the two began to get a bit teary eyed. “Orin...Yer the best friend...No...yer family...My brother.” Joe said firmly, Orin was a bit shaky when he spoke in return. “Yer my brother Joe! Yer family n...iffen there’s anythin’ ya need! I’ll do mah’ damndest ta’ be there fer ya.” Orin looked up, his eye and a cheek a bit wet. He sniffled some, Joe did as well.

The two finally pulled apart some, but Orin had other devious plans! He snapped Joe’s eyepatch and the surprise of the action knocked Joe over. Soon the large man was after Orin! The smaller man struggling to keep Joe at bay who soon resorted to tickling. Orin lost in the end, a loud SNAP! sounding his defeat. Soon after the two gave each other a fond farewell. 

“Till next we meet Joe...Some sunny day...”

Hey Nerds!!

This is an awesome, inclusive, group filled with wonderful writers and people who are just so amazingly kind. It’s a Disney/ bio based RP currently with bios for roles from Hercules, Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, Coco, the Great Mouse Detective, Robin Hood, Gravity Falls, Maleficent/Sleeping Beauty, and Princess and the Frog. More rolls will be coming soon!
