Pride is a celebration, but this year it feels different. Politically, queer and trans communities are under constant attack, while the commercial visibility of Pride has shrunk dramatically. We all deserve to celebrate our identities with love and joy, not fear.
We’ve been here before, and we will survive by nourishing and organizing our communities. Change rarely starts at the top. It starts with small groups, unsuspecting people, and moments that aren’t acknowledged as history until later. I’m proud to uplift @drbronner’s commitment to funding and sustaining the fight for LGBTQ+ rights. Dr. Bronner’s is funding change by donating $100,000 in 2026, 2027 and 2028 to the ACLU Foundation.
