I just noticed that my feet are very cozy right now

my socks are just the right thickness

and the seam isn't on the edge of my toes

and I just turned down the heater for the night, so everything is still toasty but newly silent

My mom may be slowly losing her memory but she still knows how to pick me a good pair of socks.  My hair ombré the day she gave these to me was two of the three purple shades.
