Goodberries AKA Rubee's: frozen custard
Goodberries is Canberra's famous frozen custard dessert cafes. Although over the years it has changed names to rubee's. No matter whats its called, it will always be referred to as goodberries :) It like cold rock but much much better.
Locations: Belconnen and Erindale
For all of you who dont know how rubee's works, you first choose between chocolate and vanilla frozen custard (which taste amazing) and then you choose what ever crazy combination of lollies, fruit and sauces to add to you frozen custard before it is all blended up together to create an amazing dessert sensation. Below is some pics of the fruit you can choose for you dessert.
Rubees is the place to be on a friday/saturday night after going out for dinner. Its not to expensive and tastes great.
My tips for the best goodberries:
1: ALWAYS get vanilla. It tastes loads better then chocolate. Chocolate tastes to much like actual ice cream, the vanilla tastes like smooth custard
2: choose between fruit flavours or lollies, dont mix both
Fav fruit fillings: I will suggest sweet cherries and coconut, its like a cherry ripe in a cup
Fav lollie fillings: chocolate syrup and mini m&ms
marshmallow and crunch/oreo
anything with lots of chocolate and cookie dough :)
Over all its a great place for dessert and you have to try it out.
