I have a feeling that given all the focus Shalisha is putting into her social media around cancer that they will be doing something about Paige’s Braka gene storyline

Yeah perhaps they were waiting for it to be ovarian cancer awareness month to pick it up again? Though wasn’t it breast cancer Paige’s mum had? Or maybe she never said, I don’t remember tbh. I suppose it doesn’t really matter because the BRCA gene increases risk of both, but if breast cancer’s more relevant to Paige I don’t know why they wouldn’t just have done something for breast cancer awareness month instead of waiting so long. I really hope they are gonna be picking it up again soon because it really feels like they’ve forgotten about it, doesn’t it?

Yeah, I really hope they don’t kill her off. If Rosie’s specifically requested it that’s one thing (I know there have been some soap actors who actually want the door closed on their characters when they leave), but otherwise... fuck no. Jac’s already not gonna get the happy ending she deserves as it is, but if she dies, that will be even worse. They’ve put her through such utter misery and torment and trauma for so long, and it would just be way too upsetting for her story to end in death.

The movie is called The Big Fall and honestly if you take it as a serious movie it's pretty bad, but on my second attempt to watch it I've started assuming it's just meant to be satire of 90s private eye movies in a way that just went over a lot of people's heads and it's been a lot more entertaining to watch under that assumption.
