I need to say this in someone's direction and I feel you could agree. DAMN BURNIE KEEPS MAKING THESE EMOTIONAL SPEECHES AND I REFUSE TO CRY OVER A BUILDING BUT IT IS SO HARD! Sorry I'll leave now *runs away*
oh god I agree so much, he makes such good speeches especially that "home is where people love you, don't forget that" and I know it was actually for Gavin at some point but people keep putting it on gifsets saying goodbye to 636 and EVERY GODDAMN TIME IT GETS ME
Got a new project I'm gonna start on next week..
It's a Rooster Teeth tribute/send off/goodbye video to 636.. (^_^) I'm really excited, except I'm having trouble thinking of songs to use.. I am open to suggestions! Any advice or input in the video will be credited and greatly appreciated!
I really want a video tour of the new office now :s
I was listening to Ray's stream today, and he was talking about how he didn't understand why people were upset about Roosterteeth moving offices:
"Sometimes, I don't get the fans. I lied; I don't get the fans A LOT of the time."
He's kind of right you know. It's really not the end of the world that they're leaving building 636. If anything, it's a better change for the company, as there's more space for the crew to work with, allowing for higher quality of content.
I've even seen people who believe that this is the first time RT has ever moved. You are aware they were based in San Francisco too, right? Seasons 1 and 2 of RT Shorts were all from the SF offices.
Don't get me wrong; I'm a huge RT/AH fan.
But crying over them moving? Into a BETTER building?
That's kind of pushing it.
EDIT: I'm a stupid dumbfuck. I don't know where I got the San Fran thing. I confused the Congress office with SF for some reason. Please shoot me in the face. Multiple times.
I keep telling myself its just an office but I can not fight back the tears and sadness..
Getting sad over a building is probably not even as low as it can get though. :/
Imagine it
In a few years, after rooster teeth has moved out of 636, it sits there. Maybe some else buys it, probably uses to do real work. But it kills me to know that those people wont know anything that happened there. Of the laughs that bounced off those walls. Or the dumb jokes told, the bad bets, an the stupid shenanigans of 6 grown men working in a small office playing video games for a living. The videos that made millions of people happy every day. Goodbye 636, it was a hell of a ride
