one day eddie was lowkey disassociating and blurted out how buck has the prettiest smile and then instantly started to panic and waving his hands and stammering, "i-i mean like… objectively?? in like a friendly way?? bro?"
buck and eddie accidentally brush their hands against each other and eddie loses it, this hand is sacred now, it needs to be hidden from the world
eddie catches a bowl that's about to fall out of the cabinet and onto buck, he acts all cool about it (despite his pink cheeks) but when we walks away he trips over his own feet
after a tough call buck insists on tending to eddie's wounds, despite eddie insisting that he's the medic and he's fine, but buck is so gently patting at his wounds with the gauze, that eddie just can't even bring himself to look at buck because he'll start crying if he does
eddie borrowed buck's lafd jacked once, and it smells like buck so eddie is just clutching at it like a freaking lifeline but when he wants to give it back to buck he's blushing and rambling like "thanks- it’s clean, i swear- i didn’t like… sniff it or anything!!"
buck hugs chimney after a call and eddie just gets so distant and cold, he won't say why and pretends it's the weather and is just sitting at the loft in the firehouse angrily sipping his coffee
they have this thing where before a call eddie whispers to buck to please not die and buck loves it, after one particularly hard call buck returns to eddie and tells him that he only comes back for him and just walks off like it's nothing when eddie feels genuinely dizzy
eddie is watching buck and ravi laugh at some youtube video and just can't stop himself from thinking that he wants buck to be this happy and smiley forever and then immediately internally reprimands himself like "no nope not thinking that shut up brain."
buck is cold, shivering actually, and eddie has a full on internal crisis on whether or not to give him his hoodie, and by the time he gets brave enough to do it, hen already gave buck a blanket, so eddie is just brooding silently
eddie catches buck running a hand through his curls with the sunlight hitting him just right and he goes completely blank, and stares at him, eventually remembers how to blink and whispers to himself "i am in so, so much trouble."
once buck touched eddie's hand for a few seconds and eddie walked face first into the fire truck, gaining himself a nice little bump on his forehead which he totally doesn't imagine buck kissing
buck pulls yet another reckless stunt at a call and eddie snaps, grabbing him by the shoulder and all but shouting "you don't get to do that, do you hear me? you can't do that to me." and buck is smiling like "you were worried... about me." and eddie just turns too red to deny it
eddie brings buck his coffee and goes "here's your coffee, i love y- uh i mean i love that for you, love coffee for you, yep." and disappears before he can say something more stupid
when buck walks into the room eddie (who was doing just fine until then) forgets how to exist, he literally keeps adjusting himself on the chair he's sitting on, he sits on the edge, he slouches, then straightens, he's a mess
buck and chris are making pancakes one morning and look eddie has seen this a thousand times already but he is a mess, he is looking at joy personified, so all he can say when buck gets him a few pancakes is "these are very... they're round."
buck wants to ask eddie to do something for him and before buck can say what it is eddie's all in and when buck points out that he doesn't even know what's coming eddie's like "doesn't matter, you ask i obey.... i mean wow okay not like that."
eddie saved a voicemail buck once left him, it's not even a particularly special voicemail, but it's buck's voice and sometimes eddie will be sitting in his car just listening to it and allowing himself to cry
