My New Friend

I opened the front door and a little cat sat on my front step, gazing up at me. It was white and black. In that short moment of surprise, the cat jumped up into my hallway and bolted up the stairs just casually strolling around my house and sat on my bed before I reluctantly managed to get it back outside. It just sat staring at me again for awhile but I didn't close the door, so I sat with Ally and we watched the cat until it went away again.
