It was a very full weekend--one for the record books. It contained all of my favorite things: Yoga, Christian fellowship, food, music, and great people. Friday morning started with the Montrose Church Women's Bible Study, which is always a rich time. Later that morning, I enjoyed the crisp weather, got in some hiking, and did some writing with fellow scribes at Amir's Garden in Griffith Park. Friday evening, I bonded with my February Teacher Training team over appetizers and drinks at Dave & Busters, then Saturday morning I helped a new group of teacher trainees complete their journey for their last Community Class. Saturday evening Lynn and I hung out with old friends from our CCN family, and listened to some great live music. Sunday, we had a beautiful time of worship with our Montrose Church family, and a great discussion at the Faith and Film class. Then I, and a few favorite writer friends, slummed over drinks and appetizers at the Beverly Hills Hotel's Polo Lounge. One of the differences between introverts and extroverts is the way they expend energy and recharge; I guess I fall squarely into extrovert category, because rather than being drained by all this human interaction, I feel energized, and creatively inspired. Part of that creative inspiration was poured into dinner for Lynn, who had suffered without a home cooked meal for a few days while I completed Teacher Training Extensions; the rest will be expended on a blog post. I'll work on storing any reserve for another rainy day. #yogalife #writerlife #christianlife #goodfriends #goodfellowship #theweekend https://www.instagram.com/p/Btu3bCJFyfJ/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=mfij9p16uby5
