SOCIAL DISTANCING DAY 140. I’m pretty distressed about the return to school. School starts tomorrow in our town. Clearly that’s the best method, the ideal way for an airborne virus to make its way to my aisle of Kroger, or my kid’s friend’s friend, or whatever it’s going to take to get the virus into my house. Crafty virus. All other remarks about back-to-school are made underneath the line that says: “Clearly the schools are going to be a Petri dish and the virus will grow explosively among the students and staff, and I hope you don’t die from it as it concentric-circle-ripples outward from each school building, friend reading this who may have a co-morbidity and not even know it yet.” You can say other things, but they come after that. Anyway. This is a horn flower on our back fence. That’s what we call them. I’m sure they have a real name. I’m afraid the “Juno” Instagram filter is making the trumpet color too intense, but I went with it. I went with my first instinct and it ended up too intense. #ohwell #goodluckoutthere #hornflower #covid19 #airbornevirus #backyardalmanac #lalala #quarantinelife #backtoschool #wishusluck (at Noblesville, Indiana) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDc2Od3gy4h/?igshid=1a1cxf508dvrd
