IDK why but i’m so chill for exams??? like this has been going on since last term it’s scaring me

i think I got into this really bad mindset where I’m like ooh look at me I’m so smart I don’t need to study because in the past So MANY TIMES before i have studied last minute and still did really well (like last year i wrote essays last minute and got full marks and studied the night before and got like top 5 of class) so now I think I’m protected by some sort of inexhaustible luck and no matter how late I do anything everything will miraculously be fine

like I’ve been in this mindset for a while but I haven’t acted on it till last term where literaly I was, academically speaking, at my lowest point and i only started studying a week before exams or some shit it was terrible tbh like for my business exam omg i can teven . see business i was 2nd last year and now im 1st but i didn’t really study that hard so i’m like wow natural skills so i literally didnt study for the last exam till the night before and omg in the exam i was so screwed like i had no idea what i was writing it was hoestly 45% bullshit and i tbh think ill get 14/20

and idk im not doing too well in modern history which im really upset about because i did pretty well last year and i love history and now im screwed for business and im really behind in french and i think i did badly in Mod C for english

so im feeling just super disheartened about school and exams and tbh in these holidays i literally couldnt even find a single piece of motivation to get me through studying for even one subject because the whole time i was like whats the point im going to fail anyway and i hate myself for it and like my atar goal just seems further and further away like idek im just ugh

like i know it’s not too late but i cant trust myself. i was supposed to get caught up these holidays but all i did was sleep and eat and watch netflix which i regret so much but ughhh and i think when school starts im just gonna get home eat watch tv then take a nap and not get anyhting done
