For the blind!Zuko fic, while I'm definitely looking forward to the badger-shrimp, keep in mind that Avatarverse definitely doesn't have the level of organized service animal training and disability accommodation regulations that our world has. I see a lot of fanfics transplant various real-world concepts wholesale without considering how they fit into the setting overall, and it is always jarring. So just... make sure to keep Zuko's experiences consistent with the world he lives in.

I went through the whole ‘this is not meeting expectations’ thing in season four. Stuff I thought Kirk was, how they would spin off Tom, who would end up being the villain. Pretty much none of it turned out the way I thought or wanted. And I wasn’t thrilled with what we did get. It took me awhile to stop judging it based on what I thought it should be and judge it based on what it was. Which is still a process, but hey. Anyway, after season four I stopped with the expectations. Which helped a lot. lol
