1) Spock NOT being extremely violent/severely harming Jim: it seems against instinct to harm your mate, especially one you're telepathically linked to;

2) Them having non-stop sex for days, but with some realistic elements to it, like having to face or find workarounds to Jim needing food, water, sleep...
