A lil thing I animated for Career Builder! Happy New Year friends!
My TED-inspired New Year’s resolution.
Everybody knows, New Year's resolutions are easy to make and hard to keep. Allora, I decided to break the cycle of unrealistic New Year's resolutions by focusing on just one of those that reflects my core value; allow myself time to meet my goals.
This is inspired by the following TED Talk. Angela Lee Duckworth: “The key to success? Grit”
“Grit is passion and perseverance for very long-term goals,” psychologist Angela Lee Duckworth says. “Grit is living life like a marathon, not a sprint.” Grit is also essential for success. If you expect to meet your goals immediately and give up when you don’t, you’ll probably be giving up a lot. But if you expect setbacks and can give your goals some breathing room, you have a much better shot. To celebrate the closing of the year, let’s formulate your perfect resolution!
