Tomorrow starts an exciting new journey for me✨. Last week, I accepted the full time position of Education Coordinator at the Mcnay Art Museum🎨🖌️! This isn't just a job for me, it's my official entrance into a career that I've been chasing after for seven years. I quit my cush job as a bid writer to go back to graduate school for this exact reason, and that was hands down the riskiest leap of faith I have ever taken. It took me down a strange but wonderful, challenging but totally worth it, path. I worked my ass off in school, became a certified yoga instructor, hiked to Machu Picchu, completed two internships, got engaged, and wrote a thesis, all within the three years I was in school. Now, here I am, starting my dream career of working in a museum 😭🙏. It's a small job with lots of potential for me to make it what I want/need, and I am so stoked. In related news, I am committed to maintaining my daily yoga practice 💪. So here I am, after a great sweat-sesh on my mat in the yoga room at my apartment complex.
