It’s still winter but the daffodils at Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple, Flat Bush, is in full glorious bloom. It’s a bright welcome to lunch at the vegetarian Water Drop Cafe. Today’s lunch is the delightfully named Goodwish Rice: crispy fried soy made with wheat flour, accompanied by steamed rice, crunchy crackers, braised tofu and vegetable tempura + fresh steamed broccoli.
