      she remembers everything. all their lives together, no matter how brief they may have been; both the huntsman who sacrificed his heart all over again to save red, and the sheriff who found his way to ruby time and time again, despite the evil queen always standing between them. now, they’re -- both of them, or none, she hasn’t quite figured it out. still, no matter who they are... his heart and soul are back together, and so are they.

       but memories don’t come without a price. ruby finds herself caught between wolf and woman all over again, the thought of the monster lurking just beneath the skin enough to make her stomach churn. yet somehow in this moment, snuggled deep in his arms with her head tucked beneath his chin, it’s a price that almost feels worth paying. “i just wish this moment would never end.”

Nervous enough to know she needed to be cautious. Not because of anything they might do to her-- oh no, but what she was capable of doing even accidentally to someone else.
