So i’m gonna blog about google this week because right now i’m in a talk about blogging and oneweek@google is kinda inspirational...
All packed up!
Hi there! I've created this blog as a diary of my adventure and to keep anyone who is interested updated on how things are going back in Dublin! I'll try to keep it as up-to-date as possible, and it will be written in English, so that I can practice some more and everyone can know what I'm up to. I intend to make it more visual than descriptive, so don't expect huge elaborated texts :P The name of the blog "ádh mór ort" comes from Gaeilge (Irish language), which means "good luck". I thought it would be appropriate since the last couple of months proved to be the most riskiest, challenging and adventurous of all my life... ending in the best possible way :) (I really have a badass karma :P) As most of you guys might know, I'm moving to Dublin to start working at Google EU headquarters on April 18th. Tomorrow is the big day, and I'm really excited and anxious about everything. The flight from Lisbon arrives at about 4pm, I'll then get a cab to the Hotel, check in, and immediately start the search for a permanent flat! I have a flat visit scheduled for 5.30pm, which is located at the perfect spot... only 3 minute walking distance from Google offices! So, let's hope all goes well and that my first attempt is the final one!
Friday I'll have a seminar about living and working in Dublin, where I will probably meet other Nooglers (New Googlers eheh) and have a bus tour around the city centre! In the following week, the induction days will take place where we will get training, guidance and mingling! Sounds pretty cool, I'll keep you guys updated on all that! Thank you all for your support and positive vibes! Here I go!!!
