Welcome to Howell Fotography! All images are mine, and I never use AI or Photoshop ... everything was shot through my lens, with post-processing done in Lightroom. Bonus points if you know where the quote above is derived from! I started photography when I was five years old (a long damn time ago) and have been doing it ever since. I love finding how to see the same thing that everyone else sees but in a different way ... and teaching others to do the same. I've taught darkroom and "Photo 101" over the years; am a regular guest speaker at a local high school for Photo 1, 2, and Photo Club; have shot weddings (ugh), senior photos (yay!), events, had a few things published, etc. I'm volunteer newsletter editor and photographer at the National Museum of World War II Aviation in Colorado Springs, Colorado (you can check out some of my work on our social media pages), and a member of the Colorado Aviation Photography group over on FB. I also do a bit of writing on the side, so look for a short story every now and then!
