I'm sure that my reward for an unexpectedly light family-tech-support workload over Thanksgiving will be having Christmas more than even the score.
Another Thanksgiving with the East Coast side of my extended family has ended, but this one broke with precedent in one welcome way: I spent shockingly little time on family tech-support duty and instead had that much more time for eating, napping, and eating some more. Hey everyone. It used to be a test to Google yourself and your real name online
But fuck me, I got a call for my ex-husband who I haven't seen in 14 years from a legal firm.
So I checked and there is a people search website popping up as #2 on my name's Google Search with MY HOME address and a list of my known relationships AND all my past addresses and phones RIGHT there. No paywall. Right there for any criminal to pull.
Fuck you fastpeoplesearch dot com
I clicked on the ... as I was logged into Google and reported my private address was being shared and to remove that result, but it doesn't outright stop them from using that site to search my personal data.
(Also found #4 search linkwas an Etsy review I did 9 years ago on a bdsm collar so that's gotta go too.)
