This is certainly one of the most humbling experience I’ve had. Google reached out to myself and my good friend @yinfaowei to do a Google Doodle piece in the spirit of the World Cup. This one was so much fun working on, and I enjoyed every bit of the process. Would post all the other ideas we threw down before this one later. PROUD OF THE SUPER EAGLES!!!

As I looked for inspiration ideas for my most recent hairdo, I came across these while on my search. Pretty cool. #google #googleafrica #africa #africahair #africanhairbraiding (at Soweto, Gauteng)

👏🏽📚 🇳🇬 #ArtIsAWeapon Today’s @google doodle celebrates #Nigerian #writer #poet #educator Chinua Achebe - “the father of modern African literature” - on what would have been his 87th b'earthday. _______________________________________________________________ “Art was created to make our passage in the world as people easier. Art is supposed to give us a second handle on reality, so that when real life becomes too rough, we can use this.” — Chinua Achebe in a 1989 conversation with Susan Sontag (via @PEN_America).
