Red has no concept of dates. Red likes fun. He likes fire. He wants to set everyone on fire.

“A... a what ?” He looked really confused, staring at you. No ones ever asked him out, and he didn’t know how to respond either. “You know, a date! You go out, you do fun things together...” you try to explain. It’s a bit hard, considering you don’t really know what it is either.
Pair of virgins.
“Oh, why didn’t you say so ?” His voice was as loud as ever, grinning as he grabbed you by the hand. His other arm suddenly split open, building itself into a flamethrower and your eyes widened.
“Fuck yeah! I’ve always wanted a fire buddy!”
Take note - next time, maybe you should stress that it’s supposed to be romantic.
Then again, he’d probably claim that setting a city on fire was romantic.
