It isn’t always the best of choices to getaway from what God has asked you to do. Nevertheless, God who is merciful creates gateways in the middle of our getaways so that when you look back, there won’t be no room for regrets or guilt. When God asked Jonah go to a place that he didn’t like, he was just like us. He didn’t go, instead he went his own way. However, it’s amazing to see different gateways that God opened during his journey. First, the travellers in the ship came to know about the God of Jonah. Second, Jonah become an example that Jesus would use ages after when he spoke of his death and resurrection. In the same way, God opens portals in the middle of our mistakes. Am I trying to encourage you to make wrong choices? Not at all! I wanted to tell you that it’s ok if you’ve messed up. But it’s key to know that God can bring a message out of it.
