Some corny words from me now.
When I say this game saved my life I am not kidding, I've been a fan since it came out basically and has been the most influential beautiful unique piece of media I've ever consumed, from the characters to the story to the music and to the lore, it's perfect in my eyes.
When I was 18 I was going through a very very bad time in my life, I felt hopeless, I didn't think I'd make it to 19 but here I am almost 22 and living life best I can and I wouldn't change it for anything, this game gave me the hope to think that things can always get better, things can always improve and even if it aint perfect...well it sure beats the hell out of dying so.
Happy anniversary, and thank you Toby for this gift of a game. Life changing, completely.
