For example, Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz responded to Trump's claims of a rigged GOP primary election by saying, "Apparently, when anyone votes against him, it’s an act of theft" ¹. There were also Republicans who called for Trump to drop out of the race ³. Some former Republicans left the party in 2016 or later due to their opposition to Trump ⁴.

Alliance Defending Freedom (their freedom, not yours) was first designated a Hate Group in 2016 by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).  ADF has intentionally spread lies about LGBTQ+ accusing them of being pedophiles and destroying the United Sates with their ‘homosexual agenda”.
