I was awake at 7 am, which is unheard of. My family and I rushed over to Snooze because the Sunday rush means other hungry families who also want delicious breakfast. I got a mountain of potatoes (AKA the Spuds Deluxe,) my mother got three pancakes, and my father got the eggs benedict, but the mexican version. We then ventured out to Torrey Pines Beach to hike - another thing which is unheard of for me. We hiked about 6 + miles in total, and I felt good after it. We then stopped by the outlet mall - I scored a pair of vans because of a deal.
I get home, shower - and check my phone to find a splurge of twitter chats from Alyssa and Nargis wanting to go to the beach. So out I go again, this time to a different beach though. We get to Del Mar, and it’s cloudy af. We decide to stay for at least 30 minutes, because if we just left we would look ridiculous. We dog-watched and watched a woman jump rope with a seaweed. To satisfy our icecream cravings, we went to Blush desserts (which I really enjoyed but I think Alyssa hates.) Kill time at Marukai, cried over how stupid cute things are. Half-assed dinner w/ cheap rice bowls at Chopsticks 2. Attempt to kill time again at Target - ended up killing too much time. Race to fetch Nargis’s sister from Banquet. Then I was home. I KO-ed and had the best/most sound sleep I’ve ever had for the past four months. I guess I have to spend more days out.
