kale tuna mac, cooking is easy.
while some people think cooking is hard, i’m the kind of person who finds cooking easy and therapeutic. i find a sense of relaxation and stress release, coming home after a full day of classes, and getting to cook my dinner at 9:30 every night.
I’m on a kale kick right now: kale chips, panfrying it and eating it with rice and cous cous and pasta! It’s easy, all you need are kale, olive oil, and some seasoning. Kale is good especially for me because I have low iron levels.
SO HERE, let me teach you how to make super easy, delicious, kale tuna mac! The best part of this is that you only use one pot for everything, so less dishes for you!
You need: pasta, alfredo sauce, kale, canned tuna, and olive oil! (You can add seasoning if you want, but my sauce already had garlic in it!)
Step 1: Boil your pasta and strain when it’s done. (So I lied, you need a colander but that’s just pasta water so it’s still clean.)
Step 2: Heat olive oil in that pot, and toss in your kale! (If you’re a kale virgin, chop the stems off and then chop up the leaves!) Grill these until they start to get a little bit crispy, if they turn a little brown on the edges that’s ok!
Step 3: Push the cooked kale to one side of your pot, and dump in the tuna, just to get it warm.
Step 4: Add alfredo sauce in and let it heat up.
Step 5: Add pasta and mix it all up!
And you’re done, you did it! SO EASY. Honestly, I’m kind of like, why did I make a post about this, but honestly it’s so easy to cook up something that’s pretty fast and is a hardy meal. I use to only make instant noodles with egg, but now you can make big portions and eat for multiple meals!
I hope ya’ll enjoyed this post. I actually love cooking so I might do more (-: Happy noms!
