Edward, Gordon, BoCo

Edward -> Gordon: Wants to be old friends, but also grows somewhat more apathetic as he surrounds himself w/more… outwardly receptive friends. Retreats to defending himself in the presence of Gordon out of habit and their long, long history.

Edward <--> BoCo: Very close confidants and work partners. Very in-tune with each other’s thoughts for the most part- except on whether they’re actually an item or not. One would already assume they already were, but they haven’t the need to talk about that yet. …Right?

Gordon -> Edward: Tries to figure out how to smooth out the rough patches in their strained friendship. Made somewhat difficult in part due to the other’s reluctance and avoidance of the matter, and his own anger and frustrations taking up much of his emotions and subsequent words.

Gordon -> BoCo: His savior in a time of dire need. The love of his life. The most wonderful, shining example of an engine on the planet, as far as he’s concerned. Almost oblivious to his closeness with Edward.

BoCo -> Gordon: Happy to find a nice friend in him instead of the harsh, condescending, bully that he’s heard about from common friends. May or may not have caught on to the big engine’s intense yearning for him.
