Mont Orgeuil, sometimes known as Gorey Castle and as I discovered today also known as Lé Vièr Châté in Jèrriais. No wonder a castle was built here - from the top you can see all the way out to Seymour Tower, along the east coast to La Roque and across the English Channel (or La Manche if you’re on the other side) to France. A castle has stood on this site since 1204 and it has changed significantly over the years. As dominating as it is now, believe it or not it used to be bigger!
