Tilting his wine glass in a circular motion and swirling the dark crimson liquid inside, Jed sighed softly, leaning against the couch as the sound of the clock ticking continued, mildly irritating but at the same time, he couldn't help but count the ticks.

"Fifteen seconds left til twenty-fifteen's over," Jed murmured, raising the glass to his lips as he shifted forward, clicking the sound button on the TV remote, to hear the countdown before the ball drops in times square. "Kinda a shame — Kinda wanted t' kiss someone at like, the last second before the year ends, y'know? S'kinda silly I guess." Jed murmured once again as he settled back on the couch next to his friend, knees brought to his chest as he spared the other male a side glance, before trying to direct his attention back towards the television.
