(Robert's spouse suffers from vertigo. Sometimes the attacks lasts for days. On day 4, he finds them in the shower crying and having a meltdown. He sits outside the shower holding their hand trying to calm them down.)
Spouse, crying while blindfolded so not to freeze Robert: It’s just so scary. Every time it lasts for this long, I start thinking it’s never gonna go away and I’m not going to be able to function like a regular person ever again!
Robert: It will go away, it always does. You’re going to be fine. *pause* ...Did you just wipe your nose on my arm?
