It was rare that Zelda travelled out to the Goron City, so she was determined to make every minute of the trip -- and every drop of fireproof elixir -- count. One of her goals was to answer a burning (pun not intended) question of hers.
When Daruk asked if she would like to accompany him on a stroll, she accepted without a moment of hesitation. She wanted to speak to him in private, for her query brought up a rather embarrassing quirk of the Goron’s.
She waited until they were a good distance away from the city to bring it up. “Daruk,” she began uncertainly, “I know from one of our previous encounters that you’re not exactly fond of dogs... So I was wondering, what about cats?”
