goro akechi apparently looks more like his mother than his father- the only noticeable features him and the latter share are the set of his brows and his mouth, and his angry face when he looks down on his enemies.

shido himself says that he "reminded [him] too much of that woman". so we can surmise that goro gets most of his other facial features from his mother- red eyes, thick brown hair, a more rounded face with a pointed rather than square chin.

shido is also bald.

and has a weird little beard.

the genetic markers for baldness are carried on both the X and Y chromosomes, though there is an important factor on the X.

so depending on whether goro's maternal grandfather was bald, we can't fully say that he will go bald as well. by the end of persona 5 royal, he's still only 18 years old, and that's obviously too early to tell. along with the aforementioned thick hair from his mother's side.

but you know how many people, as they get older, go bald and then end up growing truly impressive beards?

growing out your beard or keeping facial hair is not that common in japan, for societal and cultural reasons. but as he's the guy who was neat and tidy for appearance's sake, i also can't fully put it past him that if he became bald as he grew older, he would grow a beard just because he could, and he would be able to grow a far better one than shido ever did.

this is all to say that if he doesn't actually go bald, he'd be able to have both long, thick hair and a fine beard, and as age would define his features more, he'd look like jesus.
