Brew #56: Galway Bay Brewery In Bloom: Gorse Flower

ABV: 5.1%

Served: From the fridge

Aroma: Floral, lemon, honey

Pour: Opaque gold with no head at all

Taste: Fairly straightforward wit bier, full of citrus upfront. Honey mouthfeel, peters out to a slight floral finish but no gorse. There’s some slight coconut in the background. I was a bit let down by this, the elements were there but it didn’t match up to the spiel on the bottle.

Notes: 500ml bottle, brewed with gorseflower, coconut and lemon peel.
