#tbt when I asked @1yarayarayara to join me at the #GoruckHTL. She registered the week of the event and so #grateful she did! I had no doubts finishing the #Heavy, however, after we took a short break to start the #Tough, I really had my doubts... the blister on the bottom of my foot was extremely painful and I had a bad rough cough going on. But she didn’t let me give in, I had dragged her into this and we were going to finish. A small #caption of Day 1 out of 3 during the #goruckheavy. I drove to #SoCal Friday in the wee hours, scooped my #smallbutmighty @1yarayarayara to join the funishment. We got to #SanDiego in the afternoon met up With Luis to grab #lunch. Then headed out to park and prep for 24-hours of #rucking, #hiking, #waterplay, #PT, #Murph , and the anything the #Cadres put us up to. I paid a #painful price wearing #boots and having to do 12 #ruckingmiles as the first task-in the heat. I have some bad #blisters... 😬 ...
