This episode title: High Sparrow
Writer: David Benioff & D.B. Weiss
Littlefinger persuades Sansa to take his offer to marry Ramsay Bolton, while Stannis tried to persuade Jon to take his offer to legitimize him to become Jon Stark, Lord of Winterfell.
1. They are the Starks of Winterfell
I wonder if there’s a way for you to be, Jon.... Is there?
2. Winterfell is their home
3. They should rule the North
4. And avenge their family
But what must they do to do that?
Queen Margaery adores Sansa.
5x03- The only thing I like that Littlefinger said so far in the show.
Spot the difference
Jon Snow: sentences Janos Slynt to the block without prior warning.
Janos Slynt: slobbers and begs for his life.
Jon Snow: executes him.
Fandom: Just. Like. A. Boss!
Daenerys: repeatedly offers Randyll Tarly the chance to keep his life (and lands and titles).
Randyll Tarly: chooses death and proudly walks up to her to take it.
Dickon Tarly: volunteers to die (in solidarity) and insists on it.
Daenerys: executes them.
Fandom: TYRANT! EVIL! THE MAD QUEEN!!!!
FUCK i forgot what they put sansa through in the show
Game of Polls 6x03 “Oathbreaker” Results
Alrighty, first, for the sake of the poll’s integrity, I need to mention that I messed up when this was first released, accidentally putting “Roose” instead of “Ramsay.” I corrected this the next morning, but as a result, many of you (rightfully) wrote in Ramsay, or Rickon, yada yada. A few good others didn’t want to lump ToJ in with Bran & Crew (makes sense too). So what I ended up with was an enormous “other” category:
(other is the 7.1% teal)
So what I did was go through each individual response and tally up in excel. There were a few, such as “Sansa,” that I just lumped into “other.” The “You're motherfucking blog you dipshit” answer went there too.
But now that the fun math times are over, we can get on to the WINNER of Dramatic Satisfaction:
Now, I understand why lumping together Rickon/Ramsay/Shaggy votes might seem a bit unfair, but the fact is 126 felt some aspect of the Winterhell plotline was the worse, and with 17% of the votes, I’m happy to give that mantle to the Northern theater for the second week in a row. And with the total lack of motivation/logic for anything happening here, that’s not a shock.
However, a close 2nd was Bran/ToJ. Ned himself earned over 20 write-ins, so it seems a large amount of that 16% were as a result of his character assassination. Or maybe just shitty, shitty exposition. Looks like that AWESOME FIGHT focal point didn’t work out so well.
An even closer 3rd, missing the silver by one vote, was Arya. Apparently 80s training montages aren’t as popular as they used to be. Or maybe there are Waif-stans.
Less than a full percentage point behind her was Jon/The Wall, with 105 total votes. The lingering shots on the bodies were just...yeah. I get it.
I was surprised that my vote, Tyrion, trailed by as much as he did. Granted, 11% of the votes is nothing to sneeze at, but am I the only one who had like, a physical reaction to that scene?
Shout-out to the 53 people (7%) who are over Larry’s charmingly befuddled schtick.
Anyway, so concludes another week of Game of Polls. “Book of the Stranger” is in two days, and I can’t wait to see what that brings!
“He sees the whole thing with Robb Stark marrying...for love, that was anathema to Roose Bolton. He made a pact with Walder Frey, an incredibly strong ally, and he blew all that for love. Roose cannot comprehend that idea. Roose is all about power.“ Michael McElhatton

High sparrow 5.03: “Sorry we hurt the high septon, my bad” High sparrow 5.04: “Thanks for the weapons, Carol. ALRIGHT GUYS GO KILL ALL THE GAYS” Meanwhile I’m still in shock.
Yeah, wtf was that?? Is he going to be like “oh boys will be boys” or some shit, because he didn’t seem too on-board with the violence thing either.
Also, why did the Faith Militant go all Hobbit and smash plates?
