i am me! gato!!! hello!!
if it's ok to ask, where are you from?
i’m from India! but i’ve grown up & basically spent my whole life in the Middle East ^^
For the ask meme, 2, 25, or 30
Well, let's do all 3 since I'm bored and want to.
2: Your favorite character that someone else has played.Oh, this is a tough one, as sometimes I don’t know much about their character they just seem cool. However, as I have been playing a long time and quite honestly forget characters easily (sad, as some I think were quite good), I’ll only be able to tell my favorite character of recent note, and that is a character named Placeholder. Now, mind you, the name was only that as it was supposed to be a one-shot, but ended up going (and possibly further, up to my players) longer than that, but the name stuck. He is a Half-orc Barbarian with like a 7 Intelligence and lemme tell you that player played him well. He is one of the companions to Lightglide, actually.
25: What have your players done that you never could have planned for?Quite honestly, since most of what I have run so far is official modules, I don’t get much of any Plot-changing decisions. I have been working on a homebrew world and plot and all that, and even played it for a little bit, but my players got bored of it and didn’t like it (understandable, I still am trying to learn how to do such things) and moved on to something else. Anyway, that's a tangent. The only thing that a player has done that I remember is when they decided to go take a restroom break in-game at an abandoned, blood-covered fortress with bodies every once in a while. and the player (who is playing a warforged) decides to go sit on one such toilet that was similarly covered in blood. I didn’t know why. Still confuses me to this day.
30: Are your players diplomatic or murder hobos?Due to scheduling conflicts and all of that, I’m actually only down to one group that I DM and no groups that I am a player in, so for that group, it's actually pretty new and I’ve only managed to get two of the three/four players to actually come, so I can't say a definite right now but honestly, I think they are Diplomats at the moment. Bit of a change.
Anyway, thanks anon! Hope I answered your questions to your likings.
