To everyone that was a victim of the hacker that took control of my blog: I'm sorry about what happened. Genuinely. I've sent out messages to everyone affected that I could get a hold of explaining what happened and had one of my mutuals get into contact with those who had blocked me because of the hacking. I can only hope that none of you guys fell for the scam like I did.
I am not associated to the Omar Santos guy that the hacker tried to get you all to message. Proof?
I have censored name of the account that messaged me since they were hacked as well and shouldn't be harassed for what happened to me while their account was hacked. I've also censored my email which is visible in the discord screenshot. Shortly after (stupidly) changing my password as the hacker instructed, they took over my account, logged me out of everything, and changed the password again so I couldn't stop them. It wouldn't be until after April 26 that I realized I fell for a scam and sent a help ticket to support as soon as I could.
After all of this went down and I reported this vile human being that hacked my account, I deleted the discord account I SPECIFICALLY MADE TO CONTACT THIS GUY WHO I THOUGHT WAS PART OF SUPPORT.
After the hacker got my account, I haven't been able to sleep, eat properly, or concentrate on my schoolwork because I was worried about what the hacker was doing to my account and what y'all would say while I was hacked. I've been beating myself up over this for a better part of this week.
While doing damage control today, I've had to sift through a large amount of DMs the hacker sent, sending message after message to everyone affected that I COULD contact trying to clear things up. One of the most upsetting responses I got was somebody threatening to call the police on me because of what the hacker did. I not only sent a message to that person myself politely telling them what happened, but I had a mutual message them as well to back me up.
I can only hope that everyone can forgive me for what happened and I hope that this post was enough proof of my innocence. I have the emails Tumblr sent me when the hacker got into my account that show the hacker's IP address and all I will say is that the hacker was from England, while I live in the US and have been my entire life. I've never even traveled out of my own home state.
Now, I'm going to try and move on from this. I'm still kinda doing damage control since the hacker got to a lot of people while they had control of my blog, so I'm still tryna clean up everything.
