Y'know it's kinda funny if you think about how both Damien and Simon drown in their respective media.
Mark loves drowning his long haired hoes fr fr

Not too sure what we did
How do you keep on going writing after so many years? I have a plan for a fic that I release weekly but from the looks of it, it will take 3-4 years to finish since I'm dividing it into books. How do you manage to keep on writing and avoiding conflicting elements and plotholes within a story?
Well it helps that I have already been doing this for A Long Time so my personal process is sort of ingrained into me, along with knowing when it’s time for me to put my nose to the grind stone vs knowing when I’m burning out a bit and need a bit of a brain break. Plus I’m just extremely passionate about this project for reasons I’m not even entirely sure of, and my dream of reaching those certain specific parts that I really really want to share with the world happens to be enough inspiration for me to keep going I suppose x)
But for a more practical answer, the primary solution really is a decent outline. It’s the one thing that can save you from getting too blocked, allow you to see what and where things can be changed and how without having to directly rip the story itself apart, and hopefully helps you catch the snags before you ended up snagged yourself. I never recommend outlining down to specific details, because then you’re just writing the story twice, but having a road map for guiding where you want to go overall (and how and when) will not only keep you on course but also can serve as a springboard for when you do try to take a different route than you originally planned. And if you do have to step away for a while for whatever reason, then you still have your ideas locked and loaded for you, instead of a blank canvas to try and start from scratch from. Even just a simple list of general big events is better than nothing! (Though then connecting those events would be your next step llgjslflz)
Sure, for oneshots and shorter stories you can get away with just flying by the seat of your pants or coasting off vibes (which is what I do with my shorter stuff as well) but for something that you know you’re gonna be with for the long haul, especially over the span of years when things WILL want to change given enough time? You’re gonna need that safety net. That’s why even if I find myself stuck on the execution of a chapter or even a single plot point I didn’t originally anticipate, I don’t have to go back and rework anything already established; I have enough wiggle room for contingency plans, and I make sure to build that into my process from the start. If you go into a project too loosely, you won’t have enough friction to course correct, and you’ll end up spinning your wheels of a road of ice… or something lol. But go in too rigid, and you won’t be able to move forward at all with too many self-imposed obstacles…in a sense.
As for general overall motivation I have zero solid advice; motivation just comes in waves and spurts and you just gotta listen to yourself and ride it when the wave is strong and not overly force it when the wave is weak. Doing anything otherwise is only going cause frustration and even worse, potential disillusionment with your project. Just take a few deep breaths, find your own pace, trust the process, and learn to listen to yourself when it comes to how you happen to work!
Ok so we all know that technically, logistically speaking, Nikolai's actual name isn't Nikolai, right? And because of the nature of his job, it's highly unlikely he hands out his name to people like candy.
So, I present this long overdue draft.
John was fucking delirious, it had been 2 days since he had slept, and he couldn't remember when was the last time he even ate. The clock was far too loud in the background, and he could feel his muscles aching.
In short, he wasn't prepared to spend the next 5 hours filing paperwork whilst trying to pry Nik's real name out of his ass. Price cursed under his breath, flipping through files after files as he tried to find a name he could match on record for the russian. His eyes were strained and his fingers were shaking from the amount of caffeine in his system, but goddamn if he wasn't going to find out Nik's real name before Laswell di-
Nikolai knocked on the door, his russian accent filtering through the door with just a tinge of concern.
"Cap't, Laswell said you've been cooped up in here for days?"
Another knock, before the russian decided to let himself in, first peering in with his head before entering fully. The sight before him was... Concerning to say the least. The Brit looked wild, his eyes bloodshot, and the overflowing cups of coffee were definitely unhealthy. Nikolai's brows furrowed in concern as John stared up at him.
Nikolai ignores the comparison of John to a mangy dog that pops up in his mind.
Instead, he steps forward, closing the door behind him. Nik could smell the stench of cigars clinging to John this close now. And the coffee breath was foul, to say the least. His handsome John was somehow ruffled now, and the feeling of service rises up in his mind again. How Nik wanted to just drag John to the bathroom right now, and take care of his love, to ensure that John was neat and tidy and well.
He sighed, knowing that it was probably futile to drag John to bed now, given his stubborn nature. No, he decides, instead it would be better to help John in his work, to at least ensure that John ends up in his bed that night. Nik ignores John's eyes boring into him as he begins tossing the paper cups stained with coffee into the trash, clearing a space on the table for him to sit on.
"Da, I know you're stubborn, Captain. But stubbornness will get you nowhere. Now, what's wrong, malyshka?"
He leans in closer to John's face, tilting his head as he resists the urge to hold John's face. His cheeks would squish out then, and as much as Nik found it adorable, he could much rather not deal with an annoyed John in his state.
"I'll brush my teeth and drop to my knees to suck your dick if you tell me your real name now, Nik"
Well... That was certainly an interesting development, to say the least. Nik's head tilted in amusement this time, hands tracing across John's face. His coffee breath was still foul, but Nik had gotten a blowjob from much worser conditions.
"You have 2 minutes to get started on brushing your teeth, moya."
Nik ignores how eager John looked when he accepted his offer, nor does he bother to stop John when he makes a run out of his office and into the nearest bathroom.
KT made big enough eyes at me that I’m finally tucking into GRRM verse. Everyone say ty KT

On today's Ear Biscuits episode, Rhett and Link are trying really hard to come up with a plot for a book, so they could be on the cover, and they went from lumberjack and dj pursuing the same woman to a man who 3d prints houses and a hot glass artist with a soft blow, and I think everyone was baby sitting each other's babies. The woman was barely mentioned in the final concept.
I think a unrefined lumberjack constructor and a temperamental artist, who works with hot glass and takes his shirt off a lot are the perfect pairing for a mlm romance. They end up working on the same project, for an attractive rich lady, but instead of falling for the lady, they fall for each other.
