first we had how they are with you, now we have what they're like when they're the drunk ones!! yay!!!

nero is the giggly type. he doesn't get drunk often and is usually the designated driver because of it but he's usually really giggly when he does. sometimes he gets emotional but it usually isn't that deep, it's just like "i love you guys so muuuchhh *drunk sobbing*" give him kisses rn.

dante is the emotional type but it IS that deep. that's when he's wasted tho, in a social setting he's also kinda giggly. he's also the sleepy type

vergil doesn't get drunk but he's 100% a lightweight and 100% the type that cries over dumb shit but, like dante, it IS that deep

lady is the rowdy type. she needs to be watched. trish does the watching. "i'm not your mommy" my ass, for tonight you ARE the mom trish

trish is incapable of getting drunk in my mind and i don't think she'd really care to experience it anyway

nico is the same as lady. watch this bitch or she's gonna run over another old lady

nero is the patient type. very caring. he's completely sober because 1. it takes a lot to get him drunk and hates getting hungover and 2. someone has to take care of you.

dante is either drunk with you or doing his best to take care of you. he's... trying.

vergil is, like nero, completely sober. unlike nero, he's not exactly the patient type but he tries because he loves you

nico is drunk off her ass with you. you can't trust her to take care of you and whatever you do, do NOT let her drive. she's crazy on the road sober you don't wanna see her on the road drunk

kyrie is lightly buzzed at most. also the patient, caring type but if you're sober then pssst lemme let you in on a lil (non)secret... she likes being taken care of too...

trish is sober. she isn't exactly the caring type but she does keep you out of trouble

here's a hc on fortuna's language that i love!! not needed to understand the headcanons by any means but still a fun read (imo but i just like languages)

i love the idea of fortuna's language basically just being italian with french influence so that's what we're going with here

reader is g/n and speaks english and italian for the sake of the headcanons :)

nero speaks both fortunan AND english fluently. you two have only ever spoken english with each other

so imagine his surprise when you say something under your breath in italian. it's a short phrase, so he understands the entire thing perfectly with no need to assume

he just fucking. slowly turns his head to look at you 😭 he's so fucking shocked

puts his hands on your shoulders and looks at you all seriously while asking "since when do you speak fortunan?"

you correct him and say you speak italian, to which he says "why didn't you tell me you speak italian? they're mutually intelligible. we could've been talking shit in front of people this entire time." (as if you guys don't already do that 💀)

some headcanons for if the language you speak isn't italian! can be any language you want (including italian still) :)

he loves when you speak your language to him even if he has zero idea what you're saying. it makes him feel all warm and fuzzy just based off your tone and the way you look at him

he thinks it's hilarious when you switch languages just to curse people out. he picks up on the curse words pretty fast. he also thinks your language's phrases and metaphors are super interesting

he likes the way your voice changes in pitch when you switch languages. he thinks it's interesting even though his does the same thing (he doesn't notice)

tries to convince himself that you, kyrie and nico are enough for him. and you are! all of you truly are enough for him. you make him happy. he loves you and you love him.

but there's this deep aching pain that's driving him insane that feels impossible to ignore and he knows you noticed. he knows you know how abandoned he's feeling and it's humiliating because sometimes he wishes you didn't know him so well

it takes some coaxing to get him to let you hold him. it makes him feel weak, but he also needs it. needs to feel comforted. and he does feel comforted once he gives in, but it doesn't help much with that ache

you try to convince him to take a day off tomorrow, but you don't try too hard. you know he needs to keep himself busy, that's how he's always coped with things

you're worried about him overworking himself but there's not much you can do to stop him, so you just love on him as much as possible when he gets home

because you know he feels abandoned and impossible to love. so you have to remind him that you do love him more than anything.
