[One shot] “First second kiss” w/Kunpimook Bhuwakul aka Bambam
I’ve been wanting to write about Bambam for a while so here goes (oh it’s set in Thailand, of course)
You’ve been childhood friends with Kunpimook for years before he went off to S.Korea to be a star. The last time you saw him face to face was when you were both 13, you see him in tabloids and see pictures of him but it’s not the same. You’ve both kept in contact via SNS but you’re not as close as you were when you both were children. He’s visiting Thailand for the holidays and decides to surprise you; he’s coming back as a young adult – much different from when you last saw him.

You look at the clock behind your teacher counting down the minutes till it’s the end of school and the start of the holidays. You look at your friend who has their head in their arms sleeping and realise the teacher is heading your way you want to wake them up but can’t figure out a way to do it without the teacher noticing and thus you accidentally throw your book at them in a state of panic. Your friend jolts up and gives you a death stare whilst the teacher stands in front of your desks shocked at what you just did.
The bell goes and you and your friend are left behind doing cleanup duties, instead of detention because your teacher was nice enough to pardon you both. You finish your list of duties and realise your friend is being too slow.
“Look we both have to finish this and we’re not allowed to go till you’ve done your list too!” You say to them. They just give you a sideways glance.
“Well if you didn’t throw your book at me we wouldn’t be in this sort of trouble!” They reply
“Well…if you didn’t fall asleep I wouldn’t have to throw my book at you!” You both look at each other intently then burst out laughing. “You should have seen her face when I did it!” You decide to help your friend with their list and continue talking and in a matter of minutes you’ve both finished and go see the teacher.
“Next time, I don’t want you to throw anything and you to not fall asleep in my class! Understood?” the teacher says to you both and you nod in agreement; with that she dismisses you.
You and your friend say your goodbyes and part ways, as you’re walking home you notice someone stood by the tree you used to play in as a child. You can’t make out who the person is, if it is who you think it is – he’s unrecognisable to you. I mean why else would anyone stand by that particular tree when there are trees everywhere! Why that one? You’re thinking to yourself as you get closer to the tree, you see the person clearly and see similar features to the person you be thinking off.
“Kunpimook?” You ask and he nods at you, smiling brightly. You drop your rucksack and fling your arms around his body under his arms, causing him to nearly fall back. He stands there shocked at first but then puts his arms around holding you close. After a couple of seconds have passed you slowly let go and look at him. He’s changed so much; he’s taller and has lost weight. He looks so mature.
“You’ve kept me waiting for a long time you know! I saw our old friends maybe an hour ago. Why are you so late out?” He asks and you explain to him what happened, he grabs your rucksack and swings it over one shoulder and walks you home.
When you get home you invite him to spend time with you which he agrees. He decides to wait for you in your house and see your siblings. As he is waiting, you change out of your school uniform into a pretty skirt, top and canvas shoes. He notices you’re about to come downstairs and he can’t help but stare at you as you’re walking, so cute. You both walk out and go to the park since it’s such a nice afternoon.
“You look good,” he says to you, making you blush and gently hit him, saying thank you.
As you’re walking around the park you keep noticing the subtle things he used to do as a child and decide he hasn’t changed at all.
“Want to get ice-cream?” he asks and you have a race to the stall. As you sit down with your ice creams he offers you a bit of his and you lean over to try and he pushes it into your nose and pulls the cone away revealing your vanilla ice cream nose.
He bursts out laughing at your fake grumpy face. “You really haven’t changed at all – I remember seeing that face so many times when we were little!” he says in between laughs. After you’ve finished your ice creams you both take a nice stroll through the park, he keeps giving sidewards glances at you and smiling. You stop to go to tie your laces but he ties them for you, brushing over your bare legs gently with his hands.
“Ayy~ you’re so clumsy…” he says staring up at you. You bend forward to ruffle his hair and push his forehead backwards gently causing he to fall straight onto his back.
“Don’t be so cheesy using your teaser lines!” You say to him as he brushes himself off the floor. “You think I haven’t seen it?” You laugh hard to yourself. “Ahhh so cheesy!”
He runs up to you and puts an arm around your neck and walks with you like that for a while. You see your friends up ahead hanging out so you both decide to join them. It’s getting late and you decide to head back.
“I better go now; it was nice seeing you all! Tell Kunpimook I’ve gone and I’ll see him tomorrow!” You say as you get up to walk. As you’re walking away you hear someone running towards you, it’s him and he reaches you and spins you around to face him.
“Why didn’t you wait for me?” He asks and you explain, “But still, it’s late! Who is going to protect you?”
“…You?” you say and burst out laughing; he stands there and folds his arms in front of me. “Ok, ok I’m sorry. You can walk me home! But we’re not children anymore… remember and this area isn’t that bad to walk alone.”
“I know we’re not children, I mean you’re definitely not a child – you’ve got hips and great legs and uhh…” he says whilst making wide eyes at your chest and brings his hands up to pretend hold his own in the shape of breasts.
“Nope, don’t know what you’re on about!” You tease him. When you see the tree you both used to play in, you fake tell him there is a snake by him to divert his attention and run to hide behind the tree. When you get there you have to suppress a laugh and look around the tree to find him but you can’t see him anywhere. You turn around, get shocked and are about to scream until he places his hand over your mouth.
“_______, Don’t worry, it’s me...it’s just me” He whispers to you whilst looking you dead in the eye. You nod at him and your heart begins to beat harder. You pull his hand down away from your mouth and his hands moves down to your hips. “You’ve changed so much. You’re even more beautiful than when I last saw you…it’s a shame I don’t visit often because I have honestly missed you.”
“Me too. I mean, I’ve missed you a lot. You’re so handsome now! So different from when we were kids…remember when we had our first kiss?” you ask blushing at him.
“Yes, of course! Who can forget their first kiss especially with their crush?!” he says and licks his lips subconsciously, “should we have our first second kiss as young adults?” you are taken aback by him being so forward but nod at him.
He slowly brings his hands to cup your face and draws his lips to yours, only softly. It’s not till he pulls away you want more. You wrap your hand around his neck and pull his lips towards yours crashing them ever so slightly, his hands find their way to your back and he gently pushes you towards the tree never leaving your lips.
This time the kiss gets heated and he seeks dominance in your mouth, flicking his tongue out to lick your lips and he wins. He removes his lips from your mouth to your neck sucking and licking it. You pull him back to your lips wanting to taste him more and you get interrupted by your friends who had caught up to you guys coughing at you.
“Uhhum…You were walking home?” one says to you. You stare at each other in disbelief that you both did that. He backs away from you, putting a hand behind his neck giving you a half smile whilst blushing. You walk ahead of your friends who are carefully watching you both and he brushes his hand close to yours before grabbing it and holding it tight.
“I can’t believe you did that _____” He whispers to you. "Still as confident as when we were little," he smiles to you and wraps his arm around you bringing you close to his body.
