Introduction to; GOT7!
Here’s another introduction post I’ve been working on! I hope you find it useful and if you don’t already know who GOT7 are, I hope it helps you get to know them a little better! {UPDATED ON: 2017.01.06}
Meet GOT7 / 갓세븐;
(Left to right; Jinyoung, Youngjae, Mark, Jaebum, Jackson, BamBam, Yugyeom)
GOT7 are a 7 member boy group under JYP Entertainment that contain not only Korean members, but Chinese, Thai and American members too. They first debuted on January 16th 2014 with their debut single “Girls, Girls, Girls” from their EP “Got It?” (we’ll get into all their singles and MV’s later!). GOT7′s fandom name is called “iGOT7″ or sometimes you will hear/see people say “ahgase” instead. This is a cute play on words or shortening of words in Korean.
I GOT7 = 아이 갓세븐 Ahgase = 아가새
Ahgase also means “baby bird” in Korean - and that just makes it even more cute ^^
So who are GOT7? Let’s meet the members below!

Jaebum debuted as an actor in 2012 for “Dream High″
He cringes at his acting - especially during the kiss scenes OMG
Also before debuting with GOT7, he and fellow GOT7 member Jinyoung made a duo called JJProject aND IT WAS THE BEST THING EVER PLEASE CAN WE HAVE JJPROJECT AGAIN
He was also a supporting actor in the drama “When A Man Falls In Love” and was also part of the first season of “Romantic and Idol”
Jaebum can seem really cold on the outside, but he’s actually the softest, fluffiest little human on planet earth
He can speak Japanese and he can also speak a lil English although he’s super shy about it bless
Has the most AMAZING eye smile and 2 freckles/moles above his left eye that are so unique and cute~
He said that he loves travelling by bus, watching movies, taking pictures and looking for restaurants

Has said before that he loves midnight snacks and never deprives himself of them
Jaebum also goes by the name “DEFSOULl” and has written/co-written many of GOT7′s songs.
Says he always has a notebook and pen with him in case he gets inspiration for a song
He is a confident and strong leader who can keep a cool and calm head but aLSO ONE OF THE MOST EXTRA MEMBERS
The most amazing voice ever - powerful and strong and so melodic.
On New Years Day, 2017 - he blessed us with three of his own tracks under his other name DEFSOUL and single handedly killed us all (links at the end my dudes)
One of his songs ‘Holic’ had me on the floor with the lyrics this boy is going to be the death of us all
Likes to kill us all with his hip thrusts and lip biting and HIS SINFUL TONGUE whenever he can god damn Jaebum has no chill
He’s an only child
Says he hates doing aegyo but we all know he secretly likes it
Before their 2016 word tour, Jaebum developed a herniated disk in his back, causing him to miss the FLY IN SEOUL concert - everyone cried RIP
Really cares about the rest of his group - such a grandpa really
His style is chic and sexy - but he can still manage to look so cute and fluffy
Has many ear piercings in both ears and once wore fake lip piercings to a fan meet and he looked SO HOT WTF
Has super broad shoulders and I want him to punch me in the face
Not to mention his GLORIOUS thicc thighs I want him to strangle me to death with them
It’s known that Jaebum used to have a very short temper, but the group have said that he has since gotten a lot calmer and talks his feelings out with them before blowing up now.
Overall, Jaebum is a strong, strict and caring leader, but he knows how to let his hair down and have fun too.
The fandom once said that Jaebum is the backbone of GOT7, and if that doesn’t make you feel emotional then idk man.
Mark Tuan
Full name: Mark Yi-Eun Tuan
Birthday is 4th September 1993 (oldest member)
Nationality: American (Taiwanese decent)
Position: Main Rapper, Dancer/Martial Arts Dancing
Blood Type: A
Zodiac Sign: Virgo
He’s 175cm (5′9)

His hometown is Arcadia, California - U.S.A
He loves any and all types of meat and ramyeon
Boy LOVES to skateboard and has also said he loves snowboarding too
His favourite musicians are Chris Brown, Drake, ASAP Rocky and Tyga
His ideal type is a woman who makes him want to be with her
Mark also lived in Brazil and Paraguay for a few years before retuning to the U.S
He has two older sisters and 1 younger brother
His dad, Raymond (A.K.A. Papa Tuan) is the most amazing man ever, everyone needs a Papa Tuan in their lives am I right
Mark has the softest babiest face and if you don’t wanna squish his cheeks then there’s something wrong with you
KING OF AEGYO
Has the longest, most beautiful neck it’s so glorious

1 out of the 3 foreigners in the group
Had to work hard to learn Korean even while he was training to debut. He has since excelled in the language but says he is still diligently learning.
The quietest member. The other boys say he never speaks up but they love him nonetheless

Although Mark is known as the quiet member, when he lets loose he has fun IT’S SO AMAZING I LOVE MARK BEING EXTRA

Jackson Wang

Not only is Jinyoung as amazing singer, he is ALSO an amazing actor, having acted many roles for many different dramas prior to GOT7 and even now being part of GOT7.

Jinyoung helps to choreograph a lot of GOT7′s dance routines he’s so talented wtf

He originally called himself Junior(Jr.) because the owner of JYP Entertainment shares the same name - Park Jinyoung
But during the summer (2016), Jinyoung said that from now on, he wants everyone to call him by his proper name - Jinyoung ^^

Jinyoungs hair has been styled in some questionable styles. As much as we all love him - his spock haircut was tragic god bless him the poor boy WHO DID THAT TO HIM
He is what we call a “multi-idol” meaning that he is no “one trick pony” since he can sing, rap, write songs, dance AND act like HOLY SHIT
Jinyoung is actually REALLY good at English. His listening skill is really great but often needs a little time to warm up when it comes to speaking.
He is GOT7′s mother - often telling Jackson and Mark “I’m ur Mom lol”
Jaebum said that the member who knows him the best is Jinyoung as they trained together for 4 years~
All the members say that he takes the longest getting ready
He’s a very open and generous type of person

Nationality: Korean

Position: Main Vocalist, Dancer
He is 177cm (5′10)

He really loves singing and playing the piano
He has 1 older brother and 1 older sister
Youngjae says he sleeps in a lot and has trouble getting to sleep and waking up
So to deal with his insomnia he plays a lot of video games poor baby
He says he loves ALL food EXCEPT CUCUMBERS

Has the voice of an actual angel, no joke - hearing Youngjae sing will save your life and clear your skin
Youngjae was the last member to join GOT7 and only trained for 7 months prior to debuting

Fans have noticed that Youngjae seems to put himself down a lot of the time. Especially about his weight which makes us all sad because he’s perfect? He doesn’t need to go on a diet?
He has the most gorgeous chubby cheeks but that doesn’t mean your fat boi YOU’RE AMAZING JUST THE WAY YOU ARE PLEASE BE HAPPY CHOI YOUNGJAE
Also, Jaebum used to hug Youngjae really tightly in bed when they used to share a room WHAT I’M -
And now to the most important part: Youngjae’s laugh
Youngjae doesn’t laugh, he cackles.
You can easily distinguish all the boys laughs once you get to know them but the one that cracks me up and makes me smile the most is Youngjaes
And the funniest thing his - his sister has the exact same laugh so it MUST RUN IN THE FAMILY
The most kind, gentle and caring soul ever.
Youngjae is a tender hearted person and he’s literally the sweetest person on earth how??
Youngjae always seems to be the member that gets hurt or sick easily so we must try and protect this radiant ray of sunshine at all times at all costs no questions asked
He said that his fashion style is “comfortable”
When he gets stressed, he said he sings or yells
He also said that he has a habit of always humming or singing along to songs all the time
His satoori (dialect) is the cutest thing ever next to his huge, bright smile that can literally put the sun to shame.
Youngjae has a very cheerful, bright personality and sometimes it hurts me that he can’t see how truly beautiful he is SO ALWAYS LOVE AND SUPPORT HIM NO MATTER WHAT!
BamBam

His birthday is May 2nd 1997
Nationality: Thai
Position: Lead Rapper, Dancer

SERIOUSLY BamBam is the king of girl group songs. Boy has better legs than most girls these days I swear to god I HATE HIM
BamBam has 2 older brothers and 1 younger sister who are all well known dancers in Bangkok
Back in 2007, he won 1st place in a “Rain Cover Dance” competition GO BAMBAM!
His ideal type is a woman who is pretty when she smiles
Unfortunately, BamBams father died when he was really young, poor puppy :( I WANNA HUG HIM
But despite that, he is a huge ball of happiness, positive energy and fun
Although he presents himself as a carefree, young man - he’s had to deal with a lot of personal things in his life. One of them included him having a complete mental breakdown and having to go back to Thailand for a while
But he sorted himself out and now he’s back and enjoying his time as the amazing idol he is!
He’s a HUGE fan of Taeyeon from SNSD - having left many comments on her instagram pictures before.
Apart from his 1st language, BamBam speaks English and Korean really well - however he is not fluent.
He’s the second youngest in the group, but he’s still treated like a baby a lot

Seriously, this kid will give you all of his loving, undivided attention and just make you feel so loved and important even if he has other schedules - he will make time for the person in front of him and that’s the most beautiful thing ever how could you not love him

But he’s also one of the most extra members too like
He started dabbing and turned all of GOT7 into dabbing fanatics
I don’t know whether to love him or hate him for that
BAMBAM GREW UP WAY TOO FAST LIKE
One minute he was doing aegyo and now he’s like
In body straps and leather I can’t take it any more he needs to GO
Although people treat him like a baby, BamBam has said before that he wants to be treated like a man (oh holy shit well okay)
BamBam got his nickname from his Mum - also fans find it much easier to say BamBam than it is to say Kunpimook Bhuwakul but personally I love both of his names they’re so cute
Jackson says that BamBam spends WAY too much time getting ready, looking in the mirror and taking selfies.
HAS THE SKINNIEST LIL LEGS EVER BUT WE LOVE THEM SO MUCH
Jackson also said that BamBam is 70% leg and that he wishes his legs were as skinny as BamBams
BamBam has also acted, along with being an MC on several TV shows in Korea.

All jokes aside, BamBam isn’t perfect (who is?) but he always tries his hardest to please everyone and although he’s made a few mistakes - that’s what makes him human, a human who we love very much :)
Yugyeom
Full name: Kim Yugyeom
His birthday is 17th November 1997 (GOT7′s youngest member)
Nationality: Korean
Position: Vocalist, Dancer, Maknae
He is a tall baby - 180cm (5′11)

Sometimes known as the “evil maknae” for various reasons
He attended Hanlim Arts High School – Majoring in Street Dance
Yugyeom loves to play the piano
He has 1 older brother
Even though Yugyeom is the youngest, it can often be confusing because he’s the tallest boy in the group
HE’S ALSO SO SEXUAL AS OF LATE WTF?
LIKE HE HUMPS THE FLOOR AND GRINDS THE FLOOR AND
*breathes* someone needs to come and collect him right now
The other members say that Yugyeom is actually super caring towards everyone
He is always praying for the success of GOT7. Even before they debuted, Yugyeom said he was constantly praying that they would do well and succeed.
Yugyeom’s mother apparently didn’t want him to be an idol - having told him at the time she wanted him to stay in school, but she’s so proud of him now for achieving his dream!
He said that he wishes he could be close to Kystal from f(x)
He also said that he would love to perform with Baek Yerin on stage
Yugyeom does not laugh - he honks
Just honking away all day every day how can you not love Yugyeom?
He’s such a kind and caring soul bless this boy
He has said before that he is always so grateful and appreciative of the fans - especially when they take the time to take pictures of him because he likes to save the ones he likes the best!
He LOVES to dance - especially street dancing. Seriously, follow his instagram and watch his videos of him dancing - you won’t regret it I pROMISE
Was a part of HIT THE STAGE and won first place! If you haven’t already, watch his performances on HIT THE STAGE it will seriously snatch you fuckin bald my dude
The other members love to tease and prank Yugyeom - so much so that one time he actually cried on an episode of Real GOT7 because they made him think he made a mistake AND THIS POOR BABY CRIED REAL TEARS I’M SO EMOTIONAL JUST THINKING ABOUT IT
Jaebum said that Yugyeom is the member who is easiest to pull a prank on and I’d have to agree awh
The only time Yugyeom attempted to prank the whole group - it all ended tragically and everyone was able to see through his act bless him
Even though Yugyeom is the youngest member, he’s extremely mature for his age
He can speak only a little English but he always tries hard - especially during their USA tour, fans said he tried his best to communicate with them however he could, what a cutiepie
In conclusion - Yugyeom is a mature cinnamonroll who likes to sexy dance and make us all thirsty af but he’s also a sweet person who deserves everyone’s love.
