He's just like me (emotionalistical issues)
Only 3 issues in and 2023 GotG is already challenging the Bendis run for the worst GotG run.
I have not read gotg 2023 and after what I heard I’m not sure I want too. If you Don’t mind can you explain the problems with it. I don’t care for spoilers anymore.
Characters being OOC. Gamora's personality being "the drunk one" and she talks like she's a fortnite gamer. The overdone "Guardians break up and are now have to get back together" plot device. Nebula suddenly being a Guardian. The mystery box storytelling. It's a very unsubtle space western like Peter has cowboy speech and is called the Star-Sheriff by the narrator.
Also the way Peter trying to save people from Grootfall (basically Groot that goes around killing and assimilating people) and not wanting to kill Groot doesn't feel like something Peter would do. Remember Peter sacrificed an entire colony of people to stop a galactus herald and he killed Adam Warlock in order to stop the Magus. This man would reluctantly, and with a lot of guilt, kill Groot if it prevents more deaths.
Still not feeling this run but these panels are so cute
