quill, wherever you are i want you to know how much i appreciate you and the rest of the guardians. youre my best friend and you risked a lot for me, you all did.
i know i was a bit of an insufferable asshole at times (most times probably) but i want to say, genuinely, thank you for sticking by my side.
i never said it to your face but you mean a lot to me. i tried to push you away because i was scared i would lose you all, my only family. but thank you for accepting me, understanding me, and fighting by my side.
i wish that wherever you went when you returned to earth you found someplace you could properly call home, just as i called the guardians my home.
i know this was addressed to quill but if there are any other guardians reading this: i love you all. thank you for everything.
